Mogadishu, Somalia – A prestigious welcoming ceremony was held in the capital city for Maxamuud Cali Salaad Faarax Mideeye, the chairman of Ururka Qab Guud (Qab Guud Organization), drawing high-ranking officials, traditional leaders, and community members from across the nation.
The event, described as meticulously organized, was attended by Member of Parliament Maxamed Deeq Barre Fiyoore, Ugaas Daahir Ugaas Yuusuf of the Qubeys clan, members of the Mogadishu Local Council, government officials, politicians, intellectuals, businesspeople, women, and numerous citizens.

Established as a humanitarian and development organization, Qab Guud has implemented significant projects across Somalia, with particular focus on the Mudug region, which was identified as a priority area due to severe needs. The organization has also extended its operations to Hiiraan, Galgaduud, and throughout southern Somalia from Raaskambooni to Raascasayr.
Speaking at the ceremony, officials highlighted the organization's achievements in drilling water wells in areas previously deemed impossible for such projects, constructing schools and mosques, supporting orphans, providing healthcare services, and promoting education. The chairman, a former parliamentarian, was praised for his dedication to self-initiated development projects without waiting for external assistance.
